Announcing the selected projects for MIDPOINT Focus Queer 2026!

We are thrilled to introduce the talented writers, directors, and producers selected for this year’s edition, each committed to crafting compelling feature film projects with strong queer narratives.

Under the guidance of Group Leader Sullivan Le Postec, participants will engage in comprehensive script and project development. The program includes two intensive workshops:

Workshop 1: March 15-21, 2026, in Prague, Czech Republic 
Workshop 2: July 1-8, 2026, in Prague and Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, culminating in a project showcase at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

Between these sessions, teams will benefit from online consultations to refine their projects further. 
Additionally, projects are eligible to compete for the Eurimages Co-production Development Award, offering €20,000 to one outstanding project during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival's Eastern Promises Industry Days. 

MIDPOINT Focus Queer 2026 will run partially alongside the MIDPOINT Feature Launch 2026 program, enhancing networking opportunities and providing access to a diverse array of tutors and industry experts.
