The three-day workshop, taking place October 20–24, 2025, in Prague, will introduce participants to the fast-evolving world of generative AI and its potential use in creative development. Through hands-on exercises, discussions, and experiments, they will learn to work with AI tools in a way that supports — rather than replaces — human imagination.

Participants will gain a practical understanding of AI-driven workflows, exploring idea generation, visualization, and creative productivity, while also tackling ethical questions surrounding this new technology. The workshop is designed to help filmmakers, producers, and writers develop their own personal “AI toolkit” — a set of strategies for integrating these tools into daily creative practice.

Guided by Experts

The program will be led by three inspiring tutors, each bringing a distinct perspective on storytelling and innovation:

Gerhard Maier (Germany) — story development expert and festival curator with a deep understanding of how audiovisual projects evolve from concept to audience. Gerhard will connect technological opportunities with narrative thinking and creative strategy.

Oliver Schütte (Germany) — acclaimed script consultant, author, and winner of the German Screenplay Award. Oliver’s experience in story development and his focus on maintaining the human essence of storytelling will help participants balance creativity and technology.

Luka Tišler (Slovenia) — AI creator, researcher, and co-founder of Lighthouse AI, who combines over 15 years of experience in video post-production and motion design with a deep interest in creative AI applications. Luka will guide participants through practical experiments and workflow design.

Together, the participants and tutors will explore what happens when human imagination meets artificial intelligence — questioning, experimenting, and shaping a thoughtful, creative approach to the tools that are already changing our industry.
