The first workshop of TV Launch 2020 starts on June 10, 2020 and runs online. 20 participants with 9 projects of promising series are about to dive deep into the creative process for the following 12 days.

Tutors
For the whole program, 9 selected teams will be guided again by TV Launch Head of Studies Gabor Krigler and two new tutors who joined us for our TV Launch ride.

Ben Morris is a successful British writer, script editor, story consultant (Mr. Selfridge, Bancroft) and a development executive (Flesh and Blood). Most recently, he wrote an episode of Kate O'Riordan's new Channel 5 psychological drama Penance, which became one of the highest-rated dramas ever on the channel in March 2020.

French writer-producer Cyril Tysz's latest credits include adapting the Norwegian hit series SKAM for French audiences. He was also a head writer of season 1 and 2 and a writer on the show. Previously, he was the writer/head-writer on numerous animation and fiction projects both for young and adult audiences. As a tutor, Cyril has been teaching at Serial Eyes, CEEA, Sorbonne and the Racconti Script Lab.

Also onboard are the long-time collaborating guest tutors Ben Harris, Maggie Murphy and Steve Matthews.

Program
The main program consists of group work and individual consultations as well as lectures which will be led by the program tutors and guest tutors:

Ben Harris: The DNA of Television Series
Ben Morris: Both Sides of the Table - Dealing with Notes
Gabor Krigler: Writing a Great Pilot
Cyril Tysz: So, What Makes It a Series?
