Selected Projects for MIDPOINT Intensive Ukraine 2026!

We are thrilled to announce the second edition of MIDPOINT Intensive Ukraine taking place directly in Ukraine. The four-day workshop will be held in Lviv from 4-9 June 2026 and will gather selected Ukrainian filmmaking teams developing their first or second feature fiction film projects.

May 26, 2026 programs

This workshop is designed as a concrete and strategic form of support for the Ukrainian film ecosystem — strengthening creative development structures locally, offering continuity of professional training and linking Ukrainian talents with international industry know-how.

Selected projects cover a compelling spectrum of genres — from poetical drama to coming-of-age drama — reflecting the rich artistic perspectives present in the contemporary Ukrainian cinematic landscape.

Participants will collaborate with international professionals:

Mentors 2026

  • Ivo Trajkov — script consultant

  • Simone Baumann — producer mentor

Throughout the workshop, teams will work intensively on script development and focus also on financing, co-production pathways, and international potential.
