Jitka is a film Czech independent producer and festival programmer. She is the founder of the company Frame Films where she produced fiction feature Snowing! (Kristina Nedvědová/Elšíková, 2018), documentary feature Central Bus Station (Tom.š Elšík, 2018) which premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest, is a co-producer of documentary Soviet Man (Ivo Briedis, LT, LV, CZ, 2020) and The Killing of a Journalist (Matt Sarnecki, DK, USA, CZ, 2022) that premiered at Hot Docs Festival. Recently she started the production of feature documentaries Jungle/Placht (Alice Růžičková), Resilience (Tomáš Elšík) and Who is Missing Today? (Květa Chaloupková), she has in development two fiction features – Stormchasers and a family film Boogie Boogie according to famous childrenś book. Jitka studied Film studies at Charles University and Production at FAMU where she teaches now.
