Meet the Projects of MIDPOINT Shorts 2025–2026!

Their path of 8 selected projects will include two residential workshops. The first one will take place in Brno, Czech Republic, from September 29 to October 5, 2025, and will focus on dramaturgy, creative development, promotional strategies, and production planning.
The second will follow in Trieste, Italy, in January 2026, where the teams will refine their scripts and strengthen their presentation and distribution strategies before showcasing their projects at the When East Meets West Co-Production Forum.
Online consultations in December will provide additional tailored support between the two sessions.
As part of the Brno workshop, the public will also be invited to join a special screening and masterclass. On Saturday, October 4, 10:30–12:00 at Kino Art, director Nebojša Slijepčević and producer Danijel Pek will present their acclaimed short film The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent and share insights into its creation and journey.
