The latest development in this partnership involves the selection of the series project "KILWATER," a compelling Poland-Sweden co-production crafted by the talented writer Malgorzata Pilacinska. Produced by Kaja Jalocha, Krystyna Kantor, and Joanna Szymanska from Shipsboy, the project emerged through the Series Launch program in 2023.

The Göteborg Film Festival's longstanding reputation for selecting talented filmmakers with promising content aligns seamlessly with MIDPOINT's Series Launch program, renowned for its commitment to supporting and mentoring emerging creators in the field of series development.
Göteborg Film Festival takes place from January 26 to February 4, 2024. The Kilwater team will take the stage on Wednesday, January 31, at 9 am, within the European Series in Development showcase, which will be moderated by our dear Series Launch tutor Marike Muselaers (Nordisk / Head of international financing and co-production).
