MIDPOINT Partners with Banijay for Scripted Writers Lab

MIDPOINT Institute is proud to announce its collaboration with Banijay in launching a new scripted writers lab, Banijay Bootcamp.

Led by Banijay's Content Executive, Steve Matthews, Banijay Bootcamp is facilitated through our Series Launch program, which Matthews has been an integral part of since 2015.

Alongside Matthews, Nina Hernandez, Head of Content at Portocabo, and guest tutor Tatjana Samopjan will guide participants through this experience.

Commencing this week in Prague, Banijay Bootcamp spans two residencies over three months. Five Banijay development executives from Mexico, Spain, France, Israel, and the Netherlands will each receive mentorship to refine their ideas, craft compelling storylines, and polish scripts.

The inaugural Banijay Bootcamp features Clara Machado (Endemol Shine Boomdog) collaborating with Carl Zitelmann, Anita Pico partnering with Carlotta Dans and Lucia Estevez (Portocabo), working alongside Heloise Ridoux (Banijay Studios France) paired with Quentin Elles, Adi Bar Yossef (Endemol Shine Israel) teamed up with Elad Laor, and Claire Zhou (NL Film) with Leon Golterman.

The second workshop of the program is scheduled to take place in April 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic.
