After graduating as a screenplay writer from the Academy of Film and Drama, Budapest, Hungary, Peter has explored many different fields of filmmaking. Apart from writing for TV sitcoms, he worked as an editor and as a 1st AD in Hungary. After making his first short documentary Blocul nr.6 he has become fascinated by documentaries and moved to the UK to study documentary directing at the National Film and Television School. His graduation film has won the Grierson Award for Best Student Film in 2014 and an RTS Student Award in 2015. Apart from working regularly as a self-shooting director he has been co-directing and co-writing the Hungarian dramedy series, One Sumer-Night Stand (Egynyari kaland).
