Gabriele Simon is a producer and head of development for Flare Film, Berlin. Flare titles include Ein Leben lang, which was nominated for best tv film at the German TV Awards, the tv series Funeral for a dog (Sky) or the award-winning documentaries Forget Me Not and Walchensee Forever. Currently in post-production is the tv series Moresnet, that Gabriele is co-producing with Belgium and The Netherlands.
Gabriele is alumna of the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb), DrehbuchWerkstatt Munich, the EAVE Producers Workshop, and Midpoint Series Launch. Her screenplay for the feature film Stambul Garden directed by Ilker Çatak won the Thomas Strittmatter Award in 2018.
