Pavel Jech co-founded MIDPOINT in 2010 and has been active ever since as a group leader and speaker in its various programs. He also has worked as a trainer at development labs such as Sundance International, Berlinale Talents, the Mediterranean Film Institute, Cine Qua Non, and the Asia Pacific Film Lab. Pavel Jech is a professor of screenwriting and associate dean for academic affairs at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, one of the top film schools in the US. Previously, he served two terms as the Dean of FAMU, Prague. He also works as a screenwriter, script doctor, script consultant, and script and story editor on projects in a variety of genres around the world.
