Loic Barrere
Loïc Barrère is a French screenwriter and dramaturg, a graduate of La Fémis. His versatile career spans feature films, television series, and experimental web series. Notable works include Carmen (2023), co-written with Alexander Dinelaris and starring Paul Mescal, and Kidnapping Inc. (2024), which premiered at Sundance. He has also contributed to the historical drama Germinal (2021). In the fall of 2025, the film E lëtzebuerger mann, which he co-wrote with Luxembourgish director Myriam Muller, is scheduled to be shot. In 2026, Arte TV will broadcast the animated docudrama Suzanne, which he co-wrote with directors Anaïs Caura and Joëlle Oosterlinck. A mentor at La Fémis and La Sorbonne, Loïc has also worked in dramaturgy for dance, collaborating with figures like Benjamin Millepied and Gerard & Kelly.
