Pavla Klimešová is a young producer based in Prague, Czech Republic. Pavla holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Charles University in Prague and a master's degree from the Department of Production at the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU), also in Prague, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in Film and TV Production.
She currently works as a producer on a new documentary film by directing duo Vít Klusák and Barbora Chalupová, “Caught in the net” about child abuse online. She works with Barbora Chalupová on another film “Wedding time?” about same-sex marriages in the Czech Republic and public discussion about it.
Currently, she is developing short film “The Traveler” with director Veronika Jelšíková, starring Hollywood actor Geoffrey Rush that was recently awarded support from the Czech Film Fund and Czech Television.
