Marcin Łuczaj graduated in Film & Media Studies from the University of Lodz and in Cultural Studies from the University of Warsaw. He works for New Europe Film Sales, a Warsaw-based sales agency for both features and shorts, where he is responsible for feature film acquisitions and for the short film catalogue. At the moment, he's part TorinoFilmLab's ScriptLab story edito’rs workshops. Marcin has several years of experience as a programmer for Warsaw Film Festival and ZUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival, and as a guest curator for various international film festivals. He's been also working as a producer and production manager at Koi Studio. New Europe Film Sales is a boutique sales company based in Warsaw, founded in 2010 by Jan Naszewski working exclusively with features and animations. The company’s catalogue includes the Icelandic RAMS (Prix Un Certain Regard in Cannes in 2015), Swedish-Polish debut THE HERE AFTER (Directors’ Fortnight 2015) as well as 9 Berlinale titles including the 2016 Silver Bear winner UNITED STATES OF LOVE and SUMMER 1993 (Generation Grand Prix and Best First Feature), WINTER BROTHERS (Locarno winner) and UNDER THE TREE (Venice/TIFF).
