Olena Yershova
Olena Yershova’s directorial graduation short film, Demoniada, competed at the Locarno IFF.
In 2011, she created the company TatoFilm, which operated in Ukraine and in Turkey. She is also part of Kino Iberica (Georgia). She produced 10 feature films and 3 feature docs, which received more than 250 awards worldwide.
Olena Yershova served as the head of the Antalya Film Forum in 2019-20.
The new projects include: GURIA by Levan Koguashvili (Cannes Atelier 2022) and DREAM GIRL by Kaan Mujdeci (Berlinale Co-production Market 2025, ArteKino Award), ESCAPE FROM HAREM – drama series awarded at Netflix/EPC competition and selected for ACE Special 25.
She is a member of AMPAS - Oscar Academy, European Producers’ Club, and Asian Pacific Screen Academy.
Selected Films: Frost (2017)- Director’s Fortnight; Motherland (2015) – Best script award at APSA; Brighton4th (2021) Best Film, Best Script, Best Actor at Tribeca IFF, Anatolian Leopard (2021)- FIPRESCI award at Toronto IFF.
