Greta Stocklassa is a Czech-Swedish director and a graduate of FAMU in Prague. Her documentaries (KIRUNA – A BRAND NEW WORLD, BLIX NOT BOMBS) screened at numerous festivals, such as Visions du Réel, CPH:DOX or Hot Docs. BLIX NOT BOMBS was nominated for the Cinema for Peace Award in 2024. Her fiction short BUZZ OF THE EARTH won the 2024 Czech Academy Award for Best Short Film. In her work she explores socio-political issues of Western society, as in her upcoming fiction feature debut BURNOUT.
