Producer Greta Akcijonaitė and the founder of production company KINO METROPOLIS has started her professional career in film industry in 2005 as an exhibitor, distributor and audience development project manager and has successfully shifted from distributor/exhibitor to producer working as freelance for Lithuanian production companies as well as establishing her own company to support emerging filmmakers. Before diving into production she has managed 3 arthouse cinemas (Skalvija, Pasaka, Kino Deli), worked as artistic director of Vilnius International Film Festival “Kino pavasaris”, was the founder and manager of Women film festival “Šeršėliafam“, as a distributor during 13 years she has released more than 100 European titles, initiated and coordinated an international audience development project European Film Challenge (supported by Creative Europe, MEDIA).
