Blanka Herbály is a Hungarian filmmaker and emerging producer. She graduated in Business Informatics from Corvinus University and is currently completing her degree in Film Theory at ELTE in Budapest. Her background combines analytical thinking with a strong interest in cinema, which led her towards producing. She is currently working at Non Lieu Film, where she has worked as line producer on several ELTE graduation films. One of them was Mila Taraczky’s short film Petting Zoo, which has recently begun its festival run. Blanka produced Júlia Csaplár’s first short film, Coasting, which won the Most Promising Director Under 30 Award at the Budapest Friss Hús Short Film Festival in 2026. Their second collaboration is Consequences of Being Born, scheduled to shoot at the end of June. At the same festival, she pitched Agelessness with Mila Taraczky, receiving a Special Prize. From autumn 2026, Blanka will study International Producing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
