Agelessness
On a summer holiday in Croatia, Anka is torn between her friends and her much older lover, forcing her to choose where she belongs.
During a summer graduation trip on the Croatian coast, nineteen-year-old Anka finally introduces her forty-two-year-old boyfriend, Feri, to her friends and younger brother. Until now, their relationship has existed in a private world sustained by stories, fantasies, and the illusion that time moves differently for them.
Set against the familiar promise of an endless summer, the film explores a compulsive pursuit of pleasure and a subtle, neurotic hedonism. As the holiday unfolds, Anka begins to see Feri through the eyes of others. The man she admired for his freedom and youthful spirit gradually reveals himself as someone desperately clinging to an identity that no longer fits.
What emerges is the portrait of an unusual connection: awkward, tender, at times uncomfortable, yet deeply alive and unmistakably human. As illusions dissolve, the holiday becomes a farewell to youth, and to two people forced to confront who they really are.
