Aiman Hassani
Aiman Hassani is an interdisciplinary maker and writer-director working between the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. His practice spans film, series, performance, and talent development, with a recurring focus on identity, belonging, representation, and the social conditions in which stories are made. His work includes 5 Senses (2025), Teekay, The Summersault King (2024), Khata (2019), #YOLO4REAL (2018), and You’re Moroccan, Right? (2018). Khata was the Dutch submission for the International Emmy Awards 2020 and received multiple nominations. His recent development trajectory includes Berlinale Talents (2024), IDFA Academy (2020), and residencies at Proyecto’ACE in Argentina (2025) and MeetFactory in Prague (2025). He is currently developing the limited series OUTLOUD and is in post-production on Lightning, an autobiographical documentary with Rinkel Films and Dutch broadcaster VPRO.
