Gonzalo Borras
Gonzalo Borrás (Argentina, 1991) is a producer and actor based in Madrid. He studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he participated in over 30 audiovisual projects in multiple creative roles. Since 2016, he has focused on independent filmmaking and is a co-founder of Manto Films, together with Julián Lona and Agustín Balbi Gotusso. At Manto, he has produced fiction and documentary works selected and awarded in festivals such as In the Palace (Oscar-qualifying), FIDBA, Cinemundo, and Prisma Rome. His latest short films include El canto del cisne, La próxima vez, and Oropel. In 2024, the psychological horror Lucía at the Window won First Prize at Filmer Forge and was selected for MIDPOINT Institute 2025–2026. Gonzalo is currently developing two fiction features with international potential, maintaining a creative focus on socially driven narratives and cross-cultural genre storytelling.
