Darya Bassel is an experienced film producer with a long-standing career in the film industry, having contributed to numerous award-winning productions. She graduated from Ex Oriente, Eurodoc and EAVE and has mentored for Eurodoc and Baltic Sea Docs. Among her notable titles are Butterfly Vision (Un Certain Regard at Cannes 2022), The Editorial Office (Berlinale 2024; Best Script at the Ukrainian Film Academy Award), Songs of Slow Burning Earth (Venice FF 2024, Best Documentary nomination at the European Film Awards 2026). She co-produced Intercepted (Berlinale 2024; the Gotham Award and Lux Audience Award nominee) and the Oscar-nominated A House Made of Splinters (Sundance 2022).
