During the award ceremony on the evening of January 20, the HAVC & MIDPOINT Development Award, including the 3,000 EUR prize, was awarded to the creative team Pablo Pagán Fernández and Frederik Ehrhardt for their outstanding work on the project MANCLAVE.

The award jury, comprised of Marie-Gabrielle Peaucelle (sales expert, Les Films de Juillet), Alicia Martinez Miguel (Brussels International Film Festival), and Millán Vázquez-Ortiz (Agencia Freak), stated:

We have decided to recognize a project that dives into contemporary emerging topics of hypermasculinity and questions the danger of the digital manosphere, blending different genres from drama to thriller and offering the audience an open ending to question the world we live in.

This financial award, sponsored by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) and MIDPOINT Institute, emphasizes the core objective of the program itself—to aid emerging talents in advancing their film projects and navigating the international industry landscape.
