Pussy Street
Jenny, a 32-year-old expat living in Brussels, struggles with her late-blossoming sexuality. All the while a secret life unfolds in her very own home.
Jenny, a 32-year-old expat, lives and works between the buzzing European headquarters in Brussels and her shabby banlieue neighbourhood. Together with her dog, Beast, she clings to a rigid routine in a city that doesn’t feel like home. Her loneliness is offset by a lustful attraction to her neighbour, Johannes. Having never had sex, Jenny keeps her attraction tightly repressed, paralyzed by a fear of judgement.
Her world takes a turn when a strange man knocks on her door. Suddenly the walls seem to listen, the dark comes alive. Jenny feels haunted by an elusive ghost. She lives in a constant unease, aware of every little sound and movement.
Desperate for safety and connection, Jenny reaches out to Johannes. But her repressed desire is stronger than she could’ve imagined. She comes eye to eye with the source of her hauntings: a woman named Dani, living in her attic. The encounter between the two women reveals a sense of sisterhood and acceptance that she had been searching for all along.
