Welcome, Kinder!
On the night of December 10th, 1938, a train with 500 Jewish children leaves Berlin “Anhalter Bahnhof” station. Among them are Ruth, Iris, Jona, Henri and Elisa - five children from the "Kindertransporte scheme". They are on their way to England. Sent abroad on their own by their parents, to be rescued. The children set off on their journey, full of hope that they will soon be reunited with their families. But things turn out differently. Far away from everything they know, without their families, England becomes their new home, with all the difficulties this entails. Between language and culture, religion and politics, loneliness and family, childhood and growing up, the children embark on their very own adventures. And their unique journey becomes one that will save their lives and change them forever. A trip which, despite everything, they do not lose one thing: their faith in humanity.
