A student of a postgraduate screenwriting program at the Screen Academy Scotland in Edinburgh. He also studied directing and screenwriting at the Faculty of Multimedia Communication in Zlín, and Masarykova University in Brno, at the Journalist and Politics department.
While studying, he created screenplays for numerous short films, and with a helpful method “effort-failure” he has been learning the craft. After improving his skills, he had decided to travel outside of the Czech Republic, so that he could compare the perspective and approach to creativity and writing of screenplays abroad. As a hobby manner (and his love of pictures), he directed some truly odd short films and a bit less odd commercials and promotional videos.
In the Czech Republic, he had been making money as a freelance screenwriter/ director. He works with the Czech Radio Brno on realizing his author texts. For a year, he has also worked with Czech Television Ostrava and has been part of preparations for the U6 program – an amusing world of science and techno-logy. To gain experiences, he has also joined the writing team of the television series, Ulice (Street), as well as a workshop of the Czech television and agency MIDPOINT, THRILLER theme.
Nowadays he has been working on developing two feature length films based on his screenplays.
