Thea Steimer Thorson is a writer and poet who studies screenwriting at dffb.
In 2026 they were part of the Young Poems program at the Haus für Poesie in Berlin, the
Literaturwerkstatt Graz in Austria and Caucasus Cinema travelling film campus in Georgia.
They also co-wrote Ana Sarukhanova's short Hidden in Frame, which was shortlisted for Semaine
de la Critique and premiered in Sarajevo in 2026.
Currently, they're co-writing Sarukhanova's feature Invisible Song.
