Steven Meyers grew up in Michigan, USA. He has studied filmmaking at some of the world´ s elite film institutions, including FAMU (the Czech national film school) in Prague and the Columbia University School of the Arts in New York, from where he has an MFA degree in film directing. He is the director of award-winning short films and currently has several projects in development as a screenwriter. Steven is a consultant for the Icelandic Film Centre, where he evaluates projects that have applied for public funding. He also teaches screenwriting and directing at the Icelandic Film School and runs his own film-education company, the Reykjavik Film Academy.
