Nina Morgenstein

Nina Morgenstein was born in 1986 in Bratislava. She studied Middle School of Arts with specialization in illustration, animation and art history, Language School with focus on English and got a degree at the Comenius University in Bratislava, majoring in political and law philosophy. 

Nina’s work experience started in 2005 at News TV Channel TA3 where she worked as a news reports editor. From 2007 to 2013 she has worked at Dubbing studio Yes Production where she did script translations and adaptations from English to Slovak language, dialogue editing and grammar/style correction. Then worked for two years at Citadella Publishing where she was in charge of literature translations and proofreading.

From 2011 to present day Nina has been working at TV Markiza, first as a script translator and later (from 2015) also as a screenwriter (''Family cases'' – scripted reality, ''Middle of nowhere'' – comedy, ''Worst week of my life'' – comedy). Recently Nina has worked on the drama show ''Red bands society'' as a junior creative producer.

Currently Nina still works as the TV screenwriter and she also works on several freelance projects, like for TV Nova (setup writer on drama ''Saga of one Family'') and for Bedna Films production (head writer of the drama series ''Merry Widows'' and screenwriter of the feature film ''Ondrej Nepela'').
