Martin Jeřábek studied film theory at Masaryk University in Brno and directing at FAMU. His student films often featured non-professional actors and comedic elements, earning praise for their portrayal of village life that balances humor, social criticism, and a non-judgmental perspective. Martin has gained extensive experience on professional film sets in various roles, including assistant director on Somewhere Over The Chemtrails by Adam Koloman Rybanský and Our Lovely Pig Slaughter by Adam Martinec. He is currently developing his first feature film, The Hamster’s Gambit.
