During the year 2013-2014, Martin studied on the Production Team Studies program at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Faculty of Film and TV (FAMU). Prior to that, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of Finance. He has also studied Economic theory at Charles University and attended a Business program in Lisbon during the summer of 2010.
At FAMU and after, Martin has served on the production side of multiple short film projects. In many, he has served as producer and has extensive experience managing projects for directors on the FAMU International program. Prior to his experience in film, he worked in Marketing, serving as Junior Marketing Research Analyst for Focus Agency Prague. He has worked for private companies and public organizations, including a Czech-based NGO. He is also the co-founder of an online publication.
