Marta Prus was born in Warsaw in 1987. Betwwen 2006 and 2009 she studied History of Art at the Warsaw University and graduated from a Documentary Film Making Course in Andrzej Wajda’s Master School. In 209 she started Film Directing studies at the National Film School in Lodz. Now she is in the final year of Master Studies. Apart from film makin she has always been interested in Contemporary Dance and Rhymtmic Gymnastics. Her first documentary movie „Vakha and Magomed“ won 7 prizes, the next one „Eighteenth birthday“ was awarded already 4 times. She directed a documentary for television titled „Teen’s mom“. This year she got The Minister of Culture Award for outstandin achievement artistic creation. At the moment she is peparing full-length documentary in Russia.
