Luka Galešić was born in Zadar in 1991. He graduated in journalism at the Faculty of Political Science (2015) and dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Art Zagreb (2015). He also graduated with MA studies in Film and TV Directing, majoring in feature fiction film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art (2023.). During his journalism studies he was active on Student Television. For the regional project Justice as a dramaturgy student he was awarded with a Rector's Award. He collaborated on the awarded screenplay for the feature fiction film Lada Kamenski (Golden Arena for best screenplay at Pula FF 2018, Croatia) directed by Sara Hribar and Marko Šantić. He collaborates with Croatian Radiotelevison and for the last three years he has been actively working as an assistant director on Croatian feature films and TV series. He is currently developing his first debut feature “Viktorija”.
