Lucia Kajánková (*1987 in Slovakia) is a screenwriter, director and script consultant, as well as festival programmer and lecturer based in Prague, Czech Republic. She studied philosophy and film studies at Charles University in Prague and screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU. She was the program director of Queer Film Festival MEZIPATRA until 2015 and has been a faculty member of FAMU’s Department of Screenwriting and Dramaturgy since 2012. She trained with the MIDPOINT programme and the Script Consulting Incubator at the Czech Film Fund. She consults for the Czech Television and also on a variety of feature and animation independent projects. Her web-series TBH (showrunner, director) has been praised as the „first real teen and queer series“ and has been screened/awarded at both domestic and international festivals (Serial Killer, Finale Plzen, Series Mania, Prix Jeunesse, Marseille WebFest) and she is developing her feature debut PORCELINA, a pre-apocalyptic queer road-movie. She enjoys swimming pools, smoking and pictures of owls in the wilderness.
