Ion Bordian was born in Chisinau/Moldova in 1989. After writing a play in high school and performing it together with school-mates, Ion moved to Bucharest to study Audio-Visual Communication (Screenwriting & Film History/Criticism) at the National University of Theater Arts and Cinema – Ion L. Caragiale. He worked at the screenplays of several student shorts, among others 2plus2fac22 (dir. Tudor Botezatu). Ion has participated in a workshop given by Lawrence Kaplow (screenwriter and executive-producer of the TV-show House MD) in Kiev and worked at JurnalTV as a screenwriter for the tv series Ministerul Adevarului. He is currently collaborating on various short films and commercials.
