Hana Sormova
HANA ŠORMOVÁ (1998) is an emerging Prague-based film producer and a graduate of Film Production at FAMU. Since 2023, she has collaborated with nutprodukce, and more recently also with Claw films, focusing on fiction and documentary projects that often explore the boundaries between the two forms. Her recent credits include the mid-length film Once I Got In, It Was Hard to Get Out (2024, dir. Nora Štrbová, IDFF Ji.hlava – Best Sound Design), the animated short Mind Your Body (2025, dir. Anna Rybecká, Anifilm, Melbourne IAF), and the short documentaries From Play to Play (2025, dir. Mikoláš Arsenjev, DOK Leipzig) and What If We Run Out of Stones? (2025, dir. Nora Štrbová, Visions du Réel, FEST, Cork IFF, FIDBA, Pavel Koutecký Award). Since 2022, she has also been part of the digital team of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, focusing on the marketing of its VOD platform KVIFF.TV.
