MIDPOINT Shorts offer:

Selection Process:
1.Online Feedback Session: approx. twenty shortlisted projects will receive online assessments from script consultants and the producer tutor.
2. After the Online Feedback Session, the final 8 projects will be selected for the main Shorts program, which consists of two residential workshops and a project showcase during When East Meets West!

✺Online Feedback Session / July 29-31, 2026
✺Workshop 1 / October 12-18, 2026 (5 working days), Brno, Czech Republic / in collaboration with the ISFF BRNO16
✺Online Consultations / December 2026
✺Workshop 2 / January 2027 (6 working days, exact dates TBC), Trieste, Italy / in collaboration with When East Meets West and Trieste Film Festival
Fee:
✺ 50 EUR – Online Feedback Session per project
✺ 1000 EUR – Workshop 1+2 per participant
