The call for applications to MIDPOINT Focus Young Adults 2025 is still open — with a new deadline: July 22, 2025!
This brand-new program is dedicated to the development of drama series aimed at young adult audiences (approx. 16–34). It’s designed for international writers, directors, and producers, working solo or in creative teams, and supports early-stage development of original series.

Over three phases, participants will shape their concept into a well-structured pilot outline and season arc, while gaining deeper insight into creative collaboration and market positioning. It’s a unique chance to explore storytelling for one of the most exciting and fast-evolving audience groups.
Participants will work under the guidance of experienced tutors:

– Hyppe Salmi (producer tutor)
The residential workshop takes place in Brno, Czech Republic, and is organized in partnership with the Serial Killer International Series Festival, giving participants access to festival events and the TV Days conference.

700 EUR per participant
Covers tuition, accommodation (2 rooms per team), and meals during the residential workshop. Travel costs are not included.
