After studying Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practices at Hildesheim University, Kirsten Loose worked for many years as a script consultant and creative producer for weekly TV series (Lindenstrasse / ARD). She also provided script consulting for arthouse film projects and developed audience engagement strategies for them.
In 2017 Kirsten kicked off her own writing career by co-writing the independently produced web series Lampenfieber (Stage Fright), which travelled to more than 15 international festivals and won numerous awards. Since then she has joined several series productions as head writer (Bettys Diagnose / ZDF) and staff writer (Unsere wunderbaren Jahre /ARD, Doktor Ballouz / ZDF). She also worked as script consultant for Souls (Sky Germany), which won Best Screenplay at Canneseries 2022.
