Kirsten is a screenwriter and script consultant experienced in seriesmaking for mainstream and niche audiences in a wide range of genres.
She served as dramaturge and creative producer in the development and production of long-running drama series and supervised more than 600 episodes of the German TV classic Lindenstrasse.
Since 2017 Kirsten has worked in various writers’ rooms for primetime TV and streaming series. Her written work includes episodes for historical drama Unsere wunderbaren Jahre (ARD), medical Doktor Ballouz (ZDF), family dramedy Habibi Baba Boom (Disney+), and young adult mystery Feelings (ZDF/funk). As script consultant she advised the mystery drama series Souls (Sky Germany, winner of Best Screenplay at Canneseries 2022). Currently Kirsten is co-writing the reboot of the young adult show Club der roten Bänder (Red Band Society) for RTL+/Vox.
