Alasdair is an experienced short film writer, director and editor from Scotland. In 2012, his short drama "Bird" screened at Encounters Int. Film Festival and was shortlisted for Best UK Short at Raindance Film Festival. In the same year, his Creative Scotland funded documentary "In Search of the Wallaby" premiered at Edinburgh Int. Film Festival. In 2014, Alasdair filmed "Brother", a short documentary about youngsters in the remote village of Skagaströnd, Iceland. In 2020 he and Talat wrote and directed the short "Konsomatris"; a film that looks at patriarchy in Northern Cyprus. He is currently developing "Public", his first feature film, an urgent study of adolescence in the British public boarding school. Alasdair works as an editor for documentary production company Raw in London.
