DARIA (37) is a lawyer representing a refugee family from Syria, whose daughter FERIDA (6), by mistake of the Croatian police, died in a train crash on the border between Croatia and Serbia. In order to meet with her clients, she goes to a detention center located in her hometown in Slavonia. Police denies her access to the refugee family and she is forced to stay in the village until the situation is resolved. She leaves her new life in Zagreb and goes to her birth house to stay with her parents, mother KATICA (64) and father MILAN (70). Daria begins her struggles, faced with years of unresolved family relations on one hand, and a corrupt system that challenges her the power of attorney to represent clients on the other.
