Glycerin was a short lived punk band in a small town in Serbia. Delivering no real hits, no memorable gigs, and no decent recordings, its only claim to fame was an early viral video in which the frontman Jova has himself hit by a car on purpose. A footnote of a footnote. But not according to Jova who, fifteen years after the band’s split, still dreams of punk stardom while working as a delivery man. Although he’s reluctant to admit it, in his mind Glycerin is the most important band ever to grace the face of the Earth, and it’s only because of the narrow-minded sheeple that they didn’t get the deserved recognition.
