Arnbjörn - The elderly genealogist

Arnbjörn is a genealogist in his 90’s. He’s eccentric and has ancient manners, pedantic and hard to be around. Therefore he has been alone most of his life. He knows all there is to know about all the families in iceland since it was colonized. But he himself has no family, no descendants, and it seems clear that the family tree will end with him. Until he digs up and old letter, that was posted 70 years ago. In the letter it says that he had impregnated a girl at the foundation of Icelandic democracy. Arnbjörn decides to head on the road to look for his missing son.
