Zoulikha Tahar is an Algerian poet and filmmaker based in Paris. She has performed on various stages, and in 2017, she published Presque deux, a poetry collection that blends Algerian dialect, French, and classical Arabic. Her writing explores the complexity of family ties and the connection to one’s homeland, recurring themes in her films and in El’sardines, her debut series, which aired on Arte and received a Special Jury Mention at Séries Mania. Zoulikha is a member of the Rawiyat-SIF collective and a Berlinale Talents alumna.
