Tommaso Muffato is a TV & film professional with fifteen years’ experience across international distribution, production and content development. His background spans scripted and unscripted formats, editorial evaluation, film production and international content strategy, with strengths in international partnerships, cross-cultural collaboration and identifying projects with international potential. He currently works as Scripted Format Sales Director at BBC Studios, leading scripted format strategy across Europe, ME&Med and Asia.
A Psychology graduate and alumnus of Italy’s Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and the UK’s NFTS, Tommaso has participated in EAVE’s Ties That Bind and TFL Next – Story Editing, served on the pre-selection committee of IFFR’s Hubert Bals Fund and as Decision Maker at TCCF and BCM, and been invited to speak at NFTS and Inside Pictures on IP and scripted content distribution.
