Born in Milan, Rebecca De Pas studied cinema at the D.A.M.S. University in Bologna. She started working in festivals in 2004 for the Bologna Film Archive. After being assistant to the artistic director of the Mostra del nuovo cinema di Pesaro in 2008, she is now part of the FIDMarseille selection committee as well as cohead of the FIDLab, the international co-production platform of FIDMarseille.
She also works in the selection committee and as program coordinator for La Roche sur Yon IFF. She has been also artisticly responsible of Est ce ainsi... Film festival for its 10th edition. In the past two years she has collaborated with the Mostra internazionale d'arte cinematografica di Venezia for the Orizzonti section.
