Niall joined the industry as an assistant script editor before going on to write and direct award-winning music videos and short films. His first feature film ‘Small Engine Repair’ starring Iain Glen and Steven Mackintosh won awards including best film at the Galway Film Fleadh, The Nashville Film Festival as well as best newcomer at Irish Film and Television awards. His second feature film ‘Gold’ starring James Nesbitt and Maisie Williams was distributed by Sony Entertainment in the UK and subsequently purchased by multiple digital platforms including Netflix.
