Millán Vázquez (Spain, 1978) is co-founder and managing director of Agencia Freak. He has been involved in distribution for 25 years, developing his work mainly around film festivals and markets. Through the years, the films distributed by Freak have achieved thousands of selections and awards at all kinds of festivals worldwide. As an entrepreneur, Millán Vázquez has participated in the creation of the sales company Feelsales, the international film festival Cineposible, and the distribution platforms Feelmakers.com and Uptofest.com.
In parallel with his job at Freak, Millán is an eventual film producer, market coordinator and teacher. He has been teaching distribution at the EICTV School in Cuba and other countries like Italy, Finland, Canada or Costa Rica. Since 2019, Millán is an active member of the European and the Spanish Academies of Cinema Arts and Science.
