Katerina Papanastasatou
Katerina Papanastasatou is a Greek screenwriter, dramaturg and story consultant based between Athens and Berlin. A graduate of SERIAL EYES, she has also studied Political Science and Acting - a background that informs her character-driven and socially observant approach to storytelling.
She has written dialogue for more than 80 episodes of Greek television and currently works in series development with Faliro House Productions on both international and Greek TV projects. Alongside her writing work, she collaborates as a story editor and consultant on film and television projects in development.
Her feature debut The Rooster (co-written) received an audience award and is scheduled for theatrical release in 2026. In theatre, she has adapted 6 stage plays, including the theatrical adaptation of Radu Jude’s Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn.
Her original series projects include Elena, Unhinged, winner of the Agora Series Talents Award at the TIFF and She’s a Monster (co-created with Kriti Kapoor), recipient of the Development Award at Series Festival Basel and currently under option agreement with a German production company.
