Karina Korenblum

Acquisitions and sales execute with over 19 years of experience in the commercial and independent sectors. She began her career in the world of cinema in 2000 in Paris, at the prestigious production company Celluloid Dreams, where she worked as a sales agent and managed films from directors such as Francois Ozon, Takeshi Kitano and Ray Lawrence, among others. In 2007 she moved to Berlin, where she was the acquisitions director of the EEAP group and responsible for the acquisitions for Eastern Europe. She managed to consolidate a market focused on a high commercial profile but of great quality, with the purchase of films like Shutter Island, by Martin Scorsese, and The Reader, by Stephen Daldry. Afterwards, she moved to Prague where she worked as commercial advisor for the American company GrandView Castle in the acquisition of films, distribution and exhibition in cinemas, and the expansion of the video on demand (VoD) market in different countries in the region. She currently works as sales and acquisitions executive in the Cercamon company, which belongs to the talented and her great friend, Sebastien Chesneau.
